Is Boudoir Photography Private and Confidential?

How We Protect Our London Clients

She didn't ask if the photos were good. She asked if anyone else would ever see them.

That's the first question most women ask before they've asked anything else — and it deserves a clear, honest answer: yes, your boudoir session is private, and that privacy is built into every step of how we work, not promised as an afterthought.

At our London studio, every boudoir session for Collette Theron Portraits is built around your privacy, from first enquiry through to delivery.

Many of the women who book with us hold senior roles, sit on boards, or simply value their privacy as a matter of principle. Confidentiality isn't a nice-to-have here — it's the foundation the entire experience is built on.

Here's exactly how we protect you.

1. Nothing leaves the studio without your say

We love our work and we're proud of it — but pride in our work never overrides your control over it. Every image you see in our portfolio, on our website, or anywhere online belongs to a client who said yes, specifically, to that image being shown.

If you'd rather your session never appears anywhere beyond your own gallery, that's the default — not a special request.

2. Your gallery, seen only by you

Your finished images are delivered through a private, password-protected link. No one else has the password. No one else knows the link exists.

It's a small detail with a simple purpose: your images are never sent anywhere, to anyone, without your knowledge.

3. What happens to your images afterwards

Once your gallery has been delivered, your images are deleted from our system. If you'd prefer we hold them on file instead, for reprints or future orders, we'll keep them for three months — but that's your choice to make, not ours to assume.

The point of all of this

Boudoir isn't really about the photographs. It's about the chance to be seen, fully, on your own terms — and then to decide, without pressure, who else gets to see that too.

I document who they are right now, not who they think they should be. Privacy is what makes that possible.

If you've been curious about a session but privacy is the thing holding you back, let's talk it through — no obligation, just an honest conversation.

When you are ready, we begin.
