Almost every woman who books is feeling something, or moving through something.

She rarely says so at the enquiry stage. She says she has been meaning to do this for years, or that a friend told her to, or that she wants something for a partner. The real reason tends to arrive later, somewhere between the first frame and the last.

My work is to photograph her as she is now, not as she thinks she should be.

I am an award-winning Master portrait photographer, accredited by The Portrait Masters, working from a private studio in Canary Wharf, London. I photograph boudoir, maternity and motherhood portraits in a modern, editorial style.

Most women who come to me have never been photographed properly before. That is the ordinary starting point, not something to apologise for. Every pose is directed. You will not be left in the middle of the room wondering what to do with your hands.

This is not about perfection. It is about authenticity.
