Your Boudoir Photos Stay Yours: How I Protect Your Privacy

Let me tell you something I hear all the time during consultations at my London studio: 'I love the idea of boudoir photos... but what if someone sees them?'

I get it. Completely.

These are intimate images of you at your most vulnerable and powerful. The absolute last thing you want is them appearing somewhere without your permission. So when clients ask me, 'Are my boudoir photos private?' — my answer is always the same:

Absolutely. Always. No exceptions.

You see, this luxury boudoir photography experience isn't about me building my portfolio (though I'm deeply proud of the work we create together). It's about you — celebrating yourself, reclaiming your body, and creating images that remind you of your power and beauty.

And that doesn't work if you're worried about who might see them.

Here's exactly how I ensure your boudoir experience stays completely private:

1. You're Always in Control

This is non-negotiable: I will never share your images without your explicit, enthusiastic permission.

If you see photos on my website, in my portfolio, or on my Instagram (@boudoirbycollette & @collettetheronportraits), that incredible woman you're looking at has said, 'Yes! Please show the world how gorgeous I am!'

But here's what's important: most of my clients choose to keep their images completely private. And I celebrate that choice just as much as I celebrate those who want to share.

As an award-winning Master Photographer recognized by Portrait Masters and ICON Awards, I understand that my reputation is built on trust — not on posting your photos without permission.

Your photos. Your body. Your choice. Always.

2. Secure Gallery Delivery

When it comes to sharing your gallery, I take every precaution.

Your images are delivered through a private, online gallery that only you can access. No one else has the link. No one else has the password. It's not searchable, not indexed by Google, and completely secure.

You'll receive your gallery details privately and you can share access with whoever you choose — your partner, your best friend, absolutely no one. That's entirely up to you.

Even your luxury coffee table album and print products are packaged discreetly with no indication of what's inside.

3. Your Images Are Deleted After Delivery

Unless you've given me permission to use your photos in my marketing, I don't keep them indefinitely.

Once I've confirmed you've received all your images, albums, and products, I delete all files from my system. That means you own the only existing copies in the world.

Your images aren't sitting in some cloud storage or archived on a hard drive somewhere. They're gone. Completely.

Because this isn't about me holding onto your photos — it's about you owning them, fully and completely.

I work with many professional women — executives, doctors, lawyers, women in the public eye. For you, privacy isn't just important; it's essential.

I understand that your professional reputation matters. I understand that discretion is critical. I've built my entire business around honouring that.

From the moment you enquire to the day you receive your final products, everything is handled with complete confidentiality:

• Your session doesn't appear on my calendar by your full name

• Your gallery isn't labelled with identifying information

• My Canary Wharf studio is completely private (no walk-ins, no other clients during your session)

• Your privacy is protected at every single step

Many of my clients are professional women over 40 who are navigating major life transitions — milestone birthdays, divorce, career changes, or simply reclaiming their bodies after years of putting everyone else first. This safe space boudoir photography experience is designed specifically for you.

Frequently Asked Questions About Private Boudoir Photography

  • Look for photographers who explicitly state their privacy policies on their website. The best boudoir photographers will mention password-protected galleries, permission-based sharing, and file deletion policies. My Canary Wharf studio serves clients throughout London, and privacy is my number one priority.

  • The best boudoir photography experience for camera-shy women includes plenty of time (not a rushed session), professional guidance throughout, and a photographer who understands that being introverted or camera-shy doesn't mean you don't deserve gorgeous photos. My 4-hour sessions are designed specifically with this in mind.

  • An ethical boudoir photographer will NEVER post your photos without your explicit, written permission. If you see portfolios online, those clients have consented. Most of my clients keep their images completely private, and I respect and protect that choice.

  • With my service, once you've received all your products and confirmed you have everything, I delete all files from my system unless you've given permission for me to use them in marketing. You own the only existing copies.

  • Absolutely. Many of my clients are professional women who need complete discretion. From the consultation through to delivery, everything is handled with total confidentiality. Your professional reputation is safe.
